As Founder & Artistic Director of New York Theatre Ballet for 44 years, Diana Byer is well regarded for her programming choices, pairing lesser-known gems by master choreographers with world premieres by contemporary visionaries at the start of their careers.

These include Gemma Bond, Nicolo Fonte, Antonia Franceschi, Matthew Neenan, and Pam Tanowitz.

Byer continues to curate performances and thought-provoking discussion series, most recently presented at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, the National Arts Club, and the Cosmopolitan Club.
