COACH
Diana Byer has coached a range of artists from stage and film.
Diana works closely with the dancer on finding a character and helps them blend that seamlessly with their technique.
Her classes support holistic training, evaluating each student as an individual. Students have gone on to perform with major ballet companies around the world, as well as Broadway and film.
Her attention to detail is precise which gives the artist freedom to take risks under her watchful eye. She has coached the ballets of Antony Tudor for American Ballet Theatre (ABT) and The Hartt School, and works of Agnes de Mille for the Alabama Ballet and ABT. She also coached the principals for the Columbia Pictures film, Center Stage. Byer also currently coaches dancers for competitions like the Youth America Grand Prix.
